At the Belgrade Book Fare we are once again teaming up with other EU cultural institutes: Austrian Kultur Forum, Institut Français, Goethe-Institut Belgrad, and Cervantes Institute. The theme of this year’s EUNIC presentations is “Blended reading” in other words discussing the possibilities in reading from analogue and digital media.
During the fair, EUNIC will be addressing major themes related to freedom of expression, limits of digital freedom, civil rights and novel ways of participating on the Internet. EUNIC common space will offer the largest amount of workshops, lectures, and debates so far. A new element is that, as opposed to the stands’ usual location, it will be located in Hall 4.
EUNIC acts as a network for cultural institutes of European Union countries in order to achieve successful collaboration. Its aim is to promote and spread cultural diversity and understanding between European societies and to strengthen international dialogue and cultural cooperation with countries outside of Europe.
