IELTS registration
Registration
Q: How can I register for the test?
A: Registration is done online only. Please bear in mind that the availability is different for IELTS on paper and IELTS on computer tests. You can see all available test dates if you click on “Book now” next to the desired test format.
Q: Why can’t I see more dates for the IELTS Academic or IELTS General Training test?
A: Check if you are currently looking at IELTS on paper test dates only. IELTS on the computer is administered more often than IELTS on paper, and you can check the dates for it via this link.
Q: Do I need an ID for registration?
A: Yes, during the registration process you will need to upload a scanned or photographed ID. The details you list in the registration form should be identical to the ones listed on the ID, which you must have on you on the test date. Serbian citizens can use either their national ID card or their passport for registration. Test Takers who are not citizens of the country where the test is administered must use a valid passport for this purpose.
Q: How can I upload my ID after registration?
A: If you have registered for IELTS on your computer, please log into the Test Taker Portal, click on your test date, and then click the Test Taker tab. Please click the notification “You need to upload identification document” and follow the instructions on how to upload your ID. If you have registered for IELTS on paper, please send us your scanned or photographed ID to examinations@britishcouncil.rs.
After the registration
Q: When will I get my schedule?
A: If you have applied for IELTS on your computer, you have already created your schedule and it has been sent to you via email. If you have applied for an IELTS on paper, the schedule will be sent to you seven to ten days before the test date.
Q: How can I pay for the test?
A: Check the answers to the frequently asked questions regarding payment in the “Payment“ section.
Q: How can I share my results with an organization?
A: During registration, you can list up to five organizations to share your results with after the results have been released. If the desired organization is one of those with access to the IELTS Test Report Form Verification Service, we will share the results with them online. If they are not, we will send them a verified copy via mail, free of charge. It is possible to request this service from us via email up until the results have been published. Requests for additional Test Report Form(s) after the results have been released will be charged accordingly. Please see further information in the “After the test“ section.
