We are pleased to announce the official launch of the Education for Equality project, implemented in partnership with the Ministry of Education, the British Embassy, and the Commissioner for the Protection of Equality. This project aims to foster a comprehensive understanding of gender equality among Serbian youth, increase awareness about discrimination, and establish protective measures for future generations.

The project was opened by the Minister of Education, Professor Dr. Slavica Đukić Dejanović; His Excellency Edward Ferguson, the British Ambassador to Serbia; and Brankica Janković, the Commissioner for the Protection of Equality. Their presence underscored the significance of this project for both the educational system and wider Serbian society.

Education for Equality will implement a series of interactive workshops focused on educating students and teachers about gender issues, as well as developing supportive teaching materials for the citizenship curriculum. We hope that these efforts will foster meaningful change—not only in classrooms but across communities in Serbia.
