Vladan is a physics teacher and together with his colleague Marina he presented PhET simulations – the most efficient and well known free interactive simulations for physics and other natural sciences. Together they pointed out the on-going need for a critical review and verification of educational effectiveness of any new technology in the classroom.

Graduated in 1998 at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Belgrade, worked in several companies in Jagodina until 2011. Since then, he worked as a teacher of IT in the elementary school "Goran Ostojic" and "Ljubisa Urosevic".

PRESENTATION

Turtle graphics, sum of inner corners in a triangle

Class held as a correlation of subjects of mathematics and informatics. Students independently calculate internal and external angles in the triangle and then independently draw a triangle using Python turtle graphics. Students use a programming language to develop interest in solving mathematical tasks.

This lecture will explain how to make changes and motivate teachers to communicate internally and externally, and how to delegate responsibility. It will show the example of a village school in Serbia that introduced new technologies and achieved excellent results.

Vladimir has been working as an educator for 22 years, 11 of which on managing positions. He has successfully implemented many projects and is a co-author of two seminars. PRESENTATION

How to raise the number of students with blog and DM

Marketing strategies in the planning of enrollment of pupils in secondary schools, using the blog and social networks content. Through concrete examples, I will try to present the possibilities that we can use to increase the number of pupils at enrollment, starting with communication with eight-graders in their schools until using the Internet tools students use.

In addition to practical contributions to equal education for persons with disabilities, the audiobooks of professional literature have a great importance for all students. While they walk, travel or rest their eyes, they can listen lectures, chapters from books, magazine articles, and audiobooks today can be made by automatic text-to-speech conversion in the Serbian language.

Vlado Delić is a professor at the Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad, where he teaches the subject Audio signal processing. He is the head of the Group for acoustics and speech technology and co-author of over 250 publications that resulted in ten technical solutions with applications of speech technologies for Serbian language in man-machine communication, including applications in education.
