Frosina is a defectologyst and a teacher. In her presentation she presented the concept of intercultural education, its advantages and disadvantages. She showed an example of how to incite intercultural activities with students through new technologies.

The Google for Education Initiative was launched six years ago as my pro bono initiative. Today, over 30 schools in Sarajevo and Chechers use this platform with over 15,000 registered users.

The not-for-profit Microbit Foundation is making the BBC’s award winning device and its comprehensive ecosystem available to all. The micro:bit has applications across the curriculum and beyond, not  just STEM. It is extremely cheap, small and versatile, packed with sensors and outputs. Gareth runs the Foundation’s education programmes and partnerships  - working to inspire young people to become digital creatives and to follow STEM courses and careers. He has been in senior leadership roles at the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC) and the National Space Centre.
