On the website of "Vuk Karadzic" Elementary School in Vitosevac, it says that it was founded in 1864. It is one of the few schools in Serbia with a tradition of more than 150 years. For over a century and a half, this school has been the pillar of education and upbringing for all the people of their area and the central institution people have their highest confidence in.
Two gifted students, Anita and Aleksa, won a high second place on the Coding Challenge 2020 held in Niš. They identified a problem of children leaving classes too often, and found an innovative solution called "Watch out, we are counting!". Find out more about them and their project in the video below.
