Get to know our partners and co-organizers on journey of introducing ICT solutions to education in Western Balkans region. In parallel with our two-day conference, we also organised a fair where over 30 ICT companies and educational institutions presented the latest technological solutions in education that they developed or introduced to the market. The participants were able to visit their stands, try out interactive classroom solutions, find out how to use the internet for high quality teaching and see a micro:bit devices for coding.

Critical Reflections on ICT, Leadership and Forms of Professional Development

This presentation will highlight some of the myths and oversights relating to research and literature surrounding the use of ICT in education. It will draw attention to some of challenges that are often overlooked in the development of educational policies and practice. It will then move on to highlight more sustainable and effective approaches that have been incorporated to support more effective forms of professional development.
As founder of Livelab Tim has recently been involved in numerous national and international projects, focusing on topics such as critical digital literacy, video-conferencing, mobile devices, and whole school professional development. Tim is also Principal Lecturer in the Education Research Centre at the University of Brighton, and does researching and publishing work.
