Use of assistive technologies in an inclusive class

working group | new technologies in inclusive education

Stevan works as a defectologist in a school for children with developmental difficulties and is the vice-president of a NGO 'Help to family'. In his presentation he talked about how assistive technology raises self-confidence and creates the feeling of independence in children with developmental difficulties. This enables these children to feel success which leads to motivation. A teacher shouldn't be overwhelmed by technology and they should use it in such a way that bridges the difficulties that a child has.
