Get to know our partners and co-organizers on journey of introducing ICT solutions to education in Western Balkans region. In parallel with our two-day conference, we also organised a fair where over 30 ICT companies and educational institutions presented the latest technological solutions in education that they developed or introduced to the market. The participants were able to visit their stands, try out interactive classroom solutions, find out how to use the internet for high quality teaching and see a micro:bit devices for coding.

BIOGRAPHY

He was born in the town of Bor in 1980. He completed his studies at the Department for Industrial Informatics on the Technical faculty in Bor, University of Belgrade. Currently he is a student of doctors studies at the Electrotechnical and computer engineering on the Faculty of Technical sciences in Čačak, University of Kragujevac. His area of interest is Big Data and Data Science. Married, father of a child.

OPEN DATASETS- The potential for developing competition

Today’s knowledge is more reliable because of a huge presence of data which is used in a synthesis of knowledge. In most cases, this is a closed type of data with a lot of restrictions that follow it. With the usage of open data (publicly available data) the whole society’s awareness is brought to another level and in education it enables a better preparation for future personnel to handle digital challenges.

Dr Radmila Janicic is professor of Marketing and Public Relations at Faculty of Organizational Sciences. Professor Radmila Janicic is visiting professor at University Mediteran, Montenegro. She is member of International Management Teachers Academy in Bled Business School, Slovenia. Professor Radmila Janicic is member of Athens Institute for Education and Research, Atiner, in Athens, Greece.

In first part of presentation, will be present theoretical aspects of educational process through history. Modern approach to presentation in class room, interactive discussion with students, use of mobile platforms and new concept of relationship with students, based on dialogue.

If HR want to be strategic partner to business, they need to adapt to the same changes that people working in business are currently going through. One way to achieve this is by accepting up-to-date technological, software solutions that will reduce the formalization of key processes and provide employees with simple and practical support. Modernization of processes such as recruitment and performance management will drive us towards creating collaborative and agile working place. 

Radmila works in the Digital department on implementation and coordination of development for mobile and Internet banking application, as well as on improving customer experience for clients of Unicredit bank. She has almost 10 years of professional experience in HR, during which she designed and together with her colleagues from IT developed two in-house HR applications.

The use of ICT in project-based learning

"Our excursion" project enabled students to make the financial and marketing plan for a two day excursion. They used ICT tools such as Google maps and Tour builder in order to create virtual tours, and then add data and photos of places they planned to visit. By working on this project students use their knowledge of mathematics, geography, history and they develop their entrepreneurial competences.

NeReLa project

Working group | New technologies in higher education

Radojka is a professor at the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Čačak. She talked about NeReLa project that has a wider objective of increasing the attractiveness of engineering education through innovative teaching methods as well as through the strengthening of university-secondary vocational schools collaboration. The innovation off teaching method will be carried out through networking of remote engineering laboratories established at partner HE institution.

Razvionica

This Project is implemented by a consortium led by Hulla & Co. Human Dynamics KG, and funded by the European Union. Goal of the Project is development of education in Serbia through strengthening of the “knowledge triangle” consisting of education, research and innovation.

Analytics learning in the pilot project of e-School (CARNet)

As a part of E-school pilot project a system for studying analysis will be developed which will primarily analyse the effects of ICT use on learning and teaching quality. In other countries this system is already being used in higher education at the level of full online teaching. During the pilot project there will be visits to different lectures in order to create a system that is comparable to face to face teaching. 

Renata works as an expert at the Department for education support in CARNet where she develops strategies for implementing ICT in classes and other educational process. Jurica works in CARNet at the Customer support department.
